About Cross Fire Management

Our Story

Cross Fire Management (Pty) Ltd was established by John Cross in 1990 in Johannesburg, South Africa. At the time, John, who had gained a reputation as a professional in his field with previously established fire protection companies, felt that the stage was right to start his own business with new ideas and innovations and would no longer be restricted by “old school” ideologies.

The company’s initial philosophy of quality over quantity ensured that it soon became the market leader in the fire protection trade for small-work type projects such as revamps, extensions, and to a large extent, servicing and maintenance, as well as emergency repair work. The company’s success in this direction steadily led to further growth and expansion of the business in order to meet ever increasing customer and client requirements and demands. Competent, qualified and experienced staff continued to be recruited in order to satisfy these obligations. Although small-work type projects remain an integral part of Cross Fire, the company has evolved to an extent where it is in a position to undertake any fire protection assignment irrespective of size or complexity.
